Description

Friday 23rd May marks the return of none other than Paul Oakenfold to The Gallery. Yes you heard right, Oakie is back at his London home The Gallery and having tore it up at our infamous Xmas Party and then again at last October’s Perfecto special, it’s no wonder that he’s jumped back up in the latest DJ Mag poll. We cannot wait to install Paul into his best environment behind a set of decks and let him unleash that certain thing he seems to possess that turns the nights’ proceedings into one of those unforgettable evenings!! We’re also slightly fidgety with excitement at the prospect to reunite Paul with one of our favourite sons and his, the hugely talented Hernan Cattaneo. Ever since making his UK debut at The Gallery (sleeping on a certain resident DJs sofa no less!!); Hernan has gone onto become one of the world’s biggest and most respected DJs. Now a regular fixture in DJ Mag’s Top 10 poll, Hernan continues to support new talent with his critically acclaimed Renaissance series and regular appearances at the world’s leading festivals. Having toured with Oakey back in the day (who helped break him as a global DJ), the chance to bring them back together for this one-off London party is a salivating prospect!!

Seb Fontaine is a true Gallery legend and tonight joins the fray so to speak.Seb has truly been there and got the T shirt in nearly every aspect of dance music down the years. From DJing worldwide, to hosting a show on the world’s biggest radio station Radio 1, to running a wildly successful night in the shape of Type. With this backdrop, it’s easy to see why Seb still rocks it big time everywhere he goes!! It’s good to have him back at the helm of the good ship Gallery, a club he used to be a resident at back in the day and one he rocked big time at its last night at Turnmills. Add to this Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel and the main room is on your marks, get set…. GO!

The Bar meanwhile welcomes headline action from none other than Chris Fortier who jets in from New York City. With a DJ career spanning 15 plus years, he has continually been a crowd favourite, confirmed by his very first residency at the legendary ‘Aahz’ in Orlando through to more recent residencies in London and New York. Since a debut European tour in 1997, Chris has gone on to consistently tour the globe behind numerous singles, remixes and no less than 9 mix albums. Peace Division are tribal house duo better known to some as Clive Henry and Justin Drake, producing seminal anthems since 1994 this London duo have been at the forefront of the tribal house sound in the UK and remain as popular, cutting edge and utterly danceable today as they did when they started. The sign of real talent, they provide some heavy weight support to Chris Fortier and are ably joined by Steve Lee, Gallery resident of the legendary variety who completes the Bar’s array of talent with the Baby Box being hosted by house heads Nuestra Casa.
