Born in Gdansk ( Poland ) in 1979, Matt Kay arrived in Switzerland two years later. In his younger age, he got involved quickly in the electronic univers, participating to several trance and hardcor events. At the time already, being a dj was on his mind. Its surely at that same period that the will of touching the turntables came. After a period focused on rap and hip hop, Matt Kay took a new direction getting his experience through House Music at the age of 18.

Organising major events in the French Part of Switzerland, he had several occasion to meet local artists as well as foreign international artists. Thanks to these contacts he got truly involved in Djing. Willing to start on good and solid basis, he got into the VR DJ SCHOOL, based in the Vinyl Shop of VR Records in Lausanne ( www.vr-records.ch )

With his good practice and a bit of luck, it was given to him a good chance to play in different places of the region. After only 2 months of practicing he played his 1st set ever with DJ COSY ( couleur 3 ) for a private event. This 1st experience gave him the will to play elsewhere and to share his love for house with others. Then he got to play quicky in bars and clubs of Fribourg. After meeting many deejays, its davide styloso who gave him his chance in Neuchatel, proposing even a residency at the Vice versa.

Its thanks to his amazing lifting sets and hes will to move the biggest crowds that Matt Kay got to play in many Club and Parties around Switzerland.

Today, at the age of 27, Matt Kay gets himself in productions and searches constantly THE sound that will make of a normal party, a unforgetable moment. With his will to export his music throughout Switzerland, hes searching for new partnership and new possibilities to share his passion, House Music
