You’ve got to hand it to him – Sander van Doorn is a very gifted individual. His peers claim he is the saviour of dance music, and we can only agree with that statement considering what the 28 year old from Eindhoven has achieved in just 3 years. In rising through the ranks, he’s taken a huge bite at re-shaping dance music as we know it. He is an artist in a league of his own. Once a follower, van Doorn is now a true leader. When Sander started out in his self built studio, neither he nor those around him had any idea he’d end up churning out some of the most in demand dance music on offer. Sander’s music, be it as Sander van Doorn, Sam Sharp or Purple Haze is totally accessible. It blends through a multitude of dance music genres and is consumed by the A-Z of the world’s DJs. His recent work that includes Grasshopper, By Any Demand, King of My Castle and the awesome Riff have cemented Sander as one of the world’s most prolific producers, with all tracks receiving airplay on some of the world’s biggest radio stations. He is a one man band who writes, produces and masters his own work, an accolade in itself. Sander van Doorn the DJ is as popular as Sander van Doorn the producer. He’s amassed a global fan-base in a record breaking time, and a unique Myspace following to boot.
